Our Engagement is dedicated to fair trade, sustainability and the support of small rose plantations, the so-called fincas. We appreciate the personal contact, know exactly where our roses grow and know all participants and interfaces between the cultivation up to the delivery to the Swiss retail.
Quality has many aspects for us. Some are directly visible to our customers: our exquisite roses, personal contact with our customers and good service.
Other aspects are more complex. The cultivation of roses in Ecuador. The respect for workers, employees and the environment as a component of quality.
We are in daily contact with our suppliers and partners in Ecuador. On site we check the conditions in order to be able to initiate necessary developments together with our partners. Knowing the culture and language is an essential prerequisite to get an all-embracing and correct picture.

Environmental sustainability is an important topic for us with the background of CO2 and the greenhouse effect. The long way of the flowers from Ecuador to us in Switzerland may seem hardly justifiable at first sight. In fact, however, the cultivation is the crucial point.
An excerpt from a study by myclimate clearly shows this:
Per kg of cut flowers, emissions in Europe exceed emissions in Ecuador - including air transport - by a factor of 4 on average. The influences of the cultivation method are therefore more important and should not be underestimated here.
From a purely climatic point of view, European greenhouses cause higher CO2 emissions than the cultivation of cut flowers in overseas countries plus air transport.

Your cut flowers will be cut exclusively according to your order in the finca. For the cut, preparation for transport and transport to Switzerland requires some lead time.

Your beautiful cut flowers reach us in just under 3 days and are delivered to your store without any detours. The direct import allows for a short and efficient journey. After a few hours in the water, they unfold their full splendor and you can enjoy fresh and exclusive cut flowers with excellent shelf life from South America.
Before the flowers go on their journey, they are extensively hydrated through a natural process and then carefully packed.
Our intensive cooperation with the local teams has resulted in optimal packaging and thus the flowers reach us in the best possible quality.
At the Finca, our roses are selected and cut exclusively according to your order and with the desired degree of flower opening.
Your cut flowers are harvested explicitly for you at the right time and thus come directly to you in the store.
